Best Halal food I've ever had. The chicken over rice with lettuce and the three different sauces is incredible. We used to get Halal Guys on 6th when in New York which everyone knows has gone corporate/downhill so I'm so thankful we stumbled upon this amazing cart. Sammy's was so good that I had to have Halal again before our trip home. I found another place that had good reviews and tried it and unfortunately wish I hadn't because it was a complete let down after Sammy's.

Sammy still hits regardless of what everyone saids! I know the onions being in the lamb is controversial but i think it makes it delicious. Definitely a nice touch. Food is always consistent and portion is great. With major inflation going on you can't beat $8 plates. They are also not stingy with their sauce. Which is major for me. I will continue to go back.

Open 24/7 and right by the Jackson Heights- Roosevelt Ave station. The service is relatively quick for a food cart in a high traffic area. Sammy's Halal is my guilty pleasure. 9 out of 10 times I get it after a long night of hydrating or I'm still hungry after an omakase and it just hits the spot. I have been coming here for years and there isn't any competition around. This is literally and figuratively. Their quality has gone down over the years but they are still holding it down outside of the city. The chicken is moist, the sauce is tasty, and if you're lucky, you'll get more than just lettuce in your salad. White sauce, green sauce, and hot sauce are the way to go. Hypothetically, if you ask for a Jack and Coke and they tell you that they only have Pepsi. Sammy's is Pepsi. You know you like Pepsi.

BEST HALAL FOOD CART IN ALL OF NEW YORK!!! The rice is seasoned with so many spices, the white sauce is to die for, and the chicken is marinated and seasoned with species the the perfect touch. I already tried so many Halal food carts and this one is by far my ultimate favorite. They have even won awards for the best Halal in the city so you know that means they are phenomenal (:
